Children's centre outreach

Every day, practitioners engaged in outreach from children's centres enable families to access centre services. We plan to make funded training available to support this important role.

We are planning to offer practitioners engaged in outreach training opportunities.

The project will build on and develop the skills and capacity of outreach practitioners to provide an effective outreach service which meets the needs of diverse families and communities.

The training opportunities include:

  • A training course developed specifically for outreach practitioners by CWDC in partnership with the National Academy for Parenting Practitioners.
  • Specialist training courses tailored to the outreach role to provide opportunities for practitioners to develop specific skills and knowledge.
