CWDC are currently undertaking the following projects
We are studying the training needs of professionals working with young asylum seekers, who are either part of a family or unaccompanied. We are working with a number of agencies and research institutions to establish key messages for professionals.
Alongside the National Foundation for Educational Research (NFER), CWDC assessed the impact of Early Years Professional Status (EYPS) on the role of EYP's and their careers prospects.
Our study will build on previous research into the level of investment needed for a sufficient supply of competent, confident and safe workers within the children's workforce.
CWDC looked at how to effectively address issues relating to children and young people from gypsy or traveller communities.
We developed a way of assessing how our work impacts on the Children and Young People's Outcomes.

Our Practitioner-Led Research (PLR) programme funds small-scale research projects. The projects help us learn more about the experiences of workers and young service users, and provide the opportunity for cross-sector working with professionals from a range of settings
This report draws together the main statistical information available for the children's social care workforce, including key data on the different occupational groups, the numbers employed and their characteristics.
TAC is a model of service provision, where a range of agencies work together to help and support an individual child.
We are currently developing a system that will allow us to estimate more clearly the number of volunteers in our Footprint.
