Early Years Professional Status

The first five years of a child's life are key to his or her development. So it stands to reason that we need a well-trained and highly qualified early years workforce.

In order to maintain the highest standards across all settings, CWDC and its partners have developed the Early Years Professional Status (EYPS). This qualification will give practitioners the skills and knowledge necessary to lead the highest quality of practice.

We are working with training providers, Local Authorities and employers across the country to train the EYPs of the future.
