Leadership and management strategy

We will be advising the Department for Children, Schools and Families (DCSF) on the development and content of a strategy for leadership and management for all children's trust partners.

This strategy will have championing children, the common core and the National Professional Development Framework for Strategic Leaders at its heart. We will be initiating a user steering group to contribute to the development of this new strategy. To get involved with the user steering group please contact email us.

The leadership and management strategy will be applicable across the whole management chain. As part of this work, and as a result of research into the development needs of middle managers in the children's workforce, we will also be advising DCSF on the feasibility and design features of a developmental programme from middle managers in children's trust arrangements.
