Social Work

Our vision is to develop projects which will focus on front-line children's social workers and their employers so that they can support children and young people who are facing some of the most difficult circumstances.

What is the Masters in Social Work (MASW) opportunity?

CWDC is working with the Department for Children Schools and Families (DCSF) to improve the capacity, skills and qualifications of social workers that work with children across England*.

This scheme by CWDC offers local authorities funding to provide opportunities for graduates of any discipline to train to become social workers.

If you meet the eligibility crieria, then this course will provide you with the opportunity to develop into a front-line social worker with additional support provided by your prospective Local Authority.

*This scheme applies to England only and is available through any GSCC accredited university.
