Tony Morrison

It was with immense sadness that we learned of the death of Tony Morrison on 6 February in an accident in Canada. Our thoughts are with his family for whom it must be an indescribable loss.

Tony Morrison worked with CWDC on developing the supervision handbooks for both Newly Qualified Social Workers (NQSW) and Early Professional Development (EPD), and most recently in developing and delivering training to supervisors across England. He had a long history of championing the importance of effective supervision in improving outcomes for vulnerable children and young people. Tony's commitment, enthusiasm and intellect will be missed.
