Our partners
CWDC is part of several networks and alliances with other organisations. This page aims to illustrate where CWDC fits in relation to our partners.
- The Skills for Care and Development Sector Skills Council.
- The Children's Workforce Network - currently being disbanded.
- The Skills for Business Network.
CWDC is one of the five bodies that make up the Sector Skills Council, Skills for Care & Development (SfC&D). Skills for Care & Development is one of the 25 Sector Skills Councils that constitute the Skills for Business Network (SfB).
The Children's Workforce Network (CWN) is currently being disbanded.
CWDC's sponsoring government department is the Department for Children, Schools and Families (DCSF). CWDC's remit and most of its funding comes from DCSF, with smaller pots of funding coming from the Department of Health (DH) and other places.
In April 2008, CWDC became an executive Non-Departmental Public Body (NDPB).
