Playwork leadership and management programme
This practice based level 6 programme offers graduate level training for frontline managers and leaders in play.
If you're in a senior role that requires you to think strategically about playwork as part of integrated children's services, then this opportunity is for you.
The training is underpinned by the playwork principles and designed to support professional development whilst improving the quality of play. This graduate level leadership and management training programme has been developed to equip people working in senior roles to across the play workforce to lead and manage in the context of integrated children's services.
This programme doesn't just Improve opportunities for career progression. It has been developed so to enable learner to understand the role of playworkers in relation to:
- Integrated children and young people's services.
- The Every Child Matters Agenda.
- The Common Core.
- The Common Assessment Framework.
- The lead professional role.
- Safeguarding issues.
This year there are 200 fully funded places available on the programme, which requires 10 days commitment over 26 weeks. This training has proved to be very popular and feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. Apply now to enrol on the programme in 2010.
