Providing effective supervision

CWDC is working with partners to develop advice and materials to support high quality leadership and management across social care and children's services. Some of the supporting resources are specific to social care and others have wider application.

For social care, CWDC is working closely with Skills for Care to develop further materials as part of the joint social care leadership and management strategy.

A new unit of competence in providing effective supervision was published August 2007.
