Information for training providers
Endorsement of a foundation degree by CWDC is designed to provide employers and students with confidence that the qualification studied is required by the sector. Foundation degrees can be endorsed by CWDC for a period of three years up to March 2012. Endorsement is subject to CWDC’s receipt of a satisfactory Annual Report against the core criteria on the anniversary of the endorsement.
Current CWDC sector endorsed foundation degrees
CWDC sector endorsement currently covers awards in early years and in working with young people and young people's services. View our list of Sector Endorsed Foundation Degrees.
The list is continually updated as higher education institutions apply for sector endorsement of new provision and/or for the renewal of status for existing provision for which sector endorsement has expired. Because of this, no inference about the quality of provision should be made by non-inclusion on the list at this time.
