Planned projects to be started in 2008-09

The research team will:

• Commission a longitudinal study of those who have achieved Early Years Professional Status
• Produce a review of the messages for the children's workforce from research conducted on integrated working.

Other teams within CWDC will be commissioning the following projects:

• Opinions of parents and carers on the children's workforce     
• Collating the views of children and young people on their workforce     
• Career pathways in the Learning, Development and Support Services      
• Investigating the differences between turnover and vacancy rates of social workers in different local authorities

These projects are still in the planning phase and are due to begin soon.
